i've been wanting to try matte lipstick for a while now and whilst shopping, the lasting finish matte lipsticks from rimmel london caught my eye! my favourite lipstick colours are dark red so of course, i bought the lasting finish matte lipstick in a dark red shade, 107. the lipstick is also available in 4 different colours. i absolutely love the colour, it's perfect for autumn/winter!
with the first application, the lipstick has a slight sheen to it, which feels velvety, but this fades away with time leaving a lovely matte finish. i've worn this out on two occasions since purchasing it and i didn't have to worry about constantly checking it. i probably reapplied it once the whole time i was out!
in natural light (i can never be bothered to even up my cupids brow because they're usually not this noticeable! oops)
also which really surprised me is the smell! it has a lovely fruity scent to it that's not annoying or too potent at all! this is probably my current favourite lipstick, i think i'll be wearing it a lot! there's also another really pretty colour that i'd like to try from this collection! x

ReplyDeleteI haven't this lipstick, but it's currently on my list of things to buy! I have it in 107 and it's a great lipstick - I agree, they smell kind of like cherries :) This red one looks lovely on you!

ReplyDeleteI'm trying to find this exact shade but my local store doesn't have it despite having the rest of the shades and a tester tube for it. They were meant to call me if it ever came in, but it hasn't, and now I really need to find it! Such a gorgeous colour! It is a MUST have in anyone's lipstick collection!
